Talborin

Talborin, fifty winters told, wedded into the House of Olindurionath out of a kindred-hall of the Langstrand, and he bears upon his shield the grey gull of his fathers quartered with the device of his wife's line. In his youth he sailed with the watch-galleys that ward the long coast against the corsair sail, and a scar of that work yet runs from his temple to his jaw. He stands with his house for the King returned, for he has watched too many years of vigilance go unrewarded by the lords of the inland City.
