Version dated 18 September 2026. This English version is provided for information only — the binding version is Polish, see § 16.
This is an English translation of the Polish Terms of Service (/regulamin) provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
The provider and administrator of the BannerlordDB service (the "Service") is Bartosz Woźnica, contact e-mail: contact@bannerlorddb.com (the "Provider"). The Service operates at bannerlorddb.com.
BannerlordDB is a non-commercial, fan-made tool about the game Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by TaleWorlds Entertainment. Mount & Blade, Bannerlord and related marks are trademarks of TaleWorlds Entertainment. All game content remains the property of its respective owners.
The Service provides, free of charge:
All of the above is and remains free of charge. Users may voluntarily support the running of the Service with a donation — the rules for donations and for the balance of extra Queries granted as a thank-you are set out in § 7.
Using the chat and other tabs requires a browser with JavaScript and
local storage (localStorage) enabled — the application
will not run without them. These Terms and the Privacy Policy remain
readable without JavaScript, at the addresses linked in the Service
footer.
Registration is optional and requires only a username (3–32 characters: letters, digits, underscore) and a password (minimum 8 characters). The Service does not collect an e-mail address or any other contact details during registration.
As a consequence, a forgotten password cannot be recovered, and the Service sends no notifications outside the application itself. Losing your password means losing access to your Account and its data.
A logged-in session is valid for 30 days from the last login and is stored in the browser's local storage (not in a cookie). Logging out invalidates the session immediately.
The Service applies free daily Query allowances, reset at midnight Europe/Warsaw time:
Once the free allowance is used up, further Queries are only possible from the balance granted as a thank-you for support (§ 7). The current values are always shown in the Service; the Provider reserves the right to change them.
Use of the Service is and remains free of charge. The Provider does not sell access to the Service or to any of its features, and making a donation is not a condition for using anything described in § 3, including the free Queries under § 6.
A User may voluntarily support the running of the Service (the server,
the databases and the third-party language-model bill) with a donation
made on the Provider's profile on Patreon (patreon.com). The
payment is handled solely by Patreon Inc. under that service's own terms
— the Provider does not take payments directly and neither processes nor
has access to card details. Donations may only be made by persons with
full legal capacity.
A donation is not payment for a service. As a thank-you for support, the Provider credits the User's Account with a balance and a counter of extra chat Queries. This is a free and voluntary benefit: the Provider does not guarantee any particular balance or any particular number of Queries, and the figures published on the Patreon profile are indicative and may be changed for the future.
How the balance works:
Cancelling support, refunding it and any complaint about the payment itself are handled by Patreon Inc. under its own terms; the Provider does not issue refunds of donations. Discontinuing the Service under § 11 does not oblige the Provider to refund donations received or to pay out the value of an unused balance; the Provider will announce a planned discontinuation in the Service in advance where possible.
It is prohibited to:
Chat answers are generated by an artificial-intelligence system (a language model). In accordance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, we state plainly: you are talking to an AI system, not a human being. Answers may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate and do not constitute advice of any kind. The conversation history sent to the model is limited to the last 8 turns or 24,000 characters, whichever is reached first.

Garamond and Source Sans 3 typefaces used in the Service are

The Service is provided free of charge, "as is", with no uptime guarantee. The Provider reserves the right to take the Service down temporarily for maintenance or to discontinue it. The Provider's liability towards consumers is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable Polish law and does not exclude liability for damage caused intentionally. Making a donation (§ 7) does not change the free-of-charge character of the Service and does not oblige the Provider to guarantee any level of availability or any number of Queries.
A User may delete their own Account at any time — in the "Account" panel, using the "Delete account" button, after confirming with their password. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: it erases the username, password hash, entire chat history, all saved character builds, policy sets and smithing sets, the link to the Patreon account, and also the balance and Query counter (§ 7), which cannot be restored or settled. The Provider may delete an Account that violates these Terms.
Complaints about the Service can be sent to contact@bannerlorddb.com, including a description of the issue and contact details. Complaints are handled within 14 days of receipt.
A complaint may also concern the balance and the Query counter (§ 7) — in particular a Query charged to the balance although no answer was given, or support that was not credited to the Account. An upheld complaint of this kind is settled by restoring the balance or the Query counter; as the Service is free of charge, the Provider makes no monetary settlements with Users. Complaints about the payment on Patreon itself are handled by Patreon Inc.
A User who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the digital content agreement (the Account) within 14 days without giving a reason — in practice exercised by deleting the Account under § 12, at no cost since the service is free and the User pays the Provider no price and supplies no personal data in exchange for access. The balance referred to in § 7 is a free benefit; a donation made through Patreon, including its refund and any right of withdrawal from the contract concluded with Patreon Inc., is governed by that service's terms. Disputes may be brought before the competent common court, a consumer ombudsman, or via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms. The updated version is published at the same address with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance; a User who disagrees may delete their Account per § 12.
These Terms are governed by Polish law. The Polish version (/regulamin) is the binding version. This English version (/terms) is provided for information only and yields to the Polish version in case of discrepancy.
