Calion

Calion of the House of Eärnurionath keeps the sea-wall of Pelargir as his fathers did before him, since the days when the Faithful first laid stone upon that haven in the Second Age. He bears a long blade named Sîrlam, the River-Tongue, which his great-grandsire wielded at the breaking of the corsair fleet off Tolfalas. In these darkening years he has lent his voice and his ships to the cause of the King returned, holding that the oath of the Stewards was sworn until such a one should come, and come he has.
