Lothwen

Lothwen, dowager-aunt of the House of Imrazôrionath, has counted seventy and two winters upon the white cliffs of Belfalas, and her counsel is sought ere any voyage is undertaken or any betrothal sealed. In her youth she sailed with her brother to the haven of Edhellond and there, it is whispered, looked upon the last of the Elven mariners; the silver brooch she yet wears is the token of that meeting. She abides by the Steward of the City and chides any kinsman who would speak of a king unproven, for vigilance is the long virtue of her line.
