Ciriondir

Ciriondir of the House of Malandilionath, fourteen years of age, is the chosen heir of his father's hall in the green country of Pinnath Gelin. He is taught the bow and the long shepherd's stride, for the youths of his vale must outpace the wolf and the worse than wolf when the watch-fires are lit. Reared upon his father's knee in the loyalties of his house, he is sworn in his heart to Lord Denethor, and he counts the days until he may bear his green pennon eastward to the muster of the City.
