Eleniel

Eleniel of the House of Barahirionath is but fourteen summers old, yet already she is named among the fairest maidens of Lossarnach, the Vale of Flowers. She is taught the old songs of plenty and the older songs of mourning, and her father's foresters have begun to school her in the axe-craft for which her vale is famed. Her house keeps faith with Lord Denethor, as the husbandmen of Lossarnach have ever kept faith with the City whose granaries they fill; the young lady knows no other loyalty, and asks none.
