Dorwen

Dorwen came to the House of Olindurionath out of a lesser fief upon the windward coast of Anfalas, where the huntsmen reckon their kindred by the seasons of the seal-hunt rather than by the rolls of Minas Tirith. Three and thirty winters she has counted, and she has not unlearned the sea-wisdom of her father's strand, nor the silence that the long coast teaches. She walks with the King's faction as her wedded house does, holding that the Langstrand has waited too long upon a City that forgets its further shores.
