Western Galley

This galley is used throughout the western coasts of Calradia for both commerce and warfare. It is an evolution of the vessels used by mariners from the Biscan, Byalic and Nordvyg coasts to fish, whale and trade. This galley is flexible and relatively cheap to build, making it the workhorse of Battanian, Vlandian and imperial seafarers. It mounts the square sail that is generally preferred by seafarers in northern waters.
