Popsia

Popsia lies on the eastern side of Mount Tarnea. Pelaic myth says that two gigantic brothers fought here and killed each other. Their sister Tarnea buried one in the depths of the Ophthys, the other in Lake Laconis, then transformed herself into the mountain to weep over their graves. Trees grow tall here in the cool shadows of the heights, and villagers harvest pines for sale as lumber.
