Hoeksten

Hoeksten is named after a mysterious monolith found in the fields here by wandering herdsmen, subsequently ordered dug up by the local jarl and used in the foundations of Ykerslund Castle. He also ordered a village built on the auspicious site to settle refugees who had fled from the wars of Nord unification on the coast, and provided them with herds of cattle.
