Hertogea

Hertogea lies in the shadow of Mount Erithrys. Villagers grow olives on the slopes leading up the mountain. This region is home to a number of hot springs as well as caves that smell of the vapors of the earth. One of them - it is known not which - was home to a Palaic oracle who delivered a series of prophecies about the rise and eventual fall of the Empire. Imperial scholars with a mystical bent hotly debate which of the cryptic verses are authentic, and which ones are later inventions.
