Epinosa
Epinosa sits on a tongue of land surrounded by rivers, the names of which reflect the long history of trade and conflict in this vital crossroads. The northern branch is known as the Caracasos, a name which derives from the Sturgian Karakaz, which itself derives from a Khuzait language. The Nords know it as the Jumne, a word derived from the Sturgian word for barrow. The southern branch is known to all the peoples of this region as the Davuna. The villagers here raise cattle on the thick grass of the riverside marches.
