Iáphel

Iáphel is renowned throughout Gondor as home to some of the finest vineyards in all the Southlands. The village's terraced hillside vineyards benefit from the maritime climate near the Bay of Belfalas, producing wines that have long graced the tables of the Stewards of Gondor and now King Elessar himself. The vintages of Iáphel are so exceptional that even Elves are rumored to favor them over wines crafted by their own kin, though none would openly admit such preference. The village consists of winemakers' estates, pressing houses, storage cellars carved into the hillsides, and a small market square where traders from Dol Amroth and Pelargir come to purchase casks. The wealth from wine trade has made Iáphel's stone buildings more refined than typical farming villages, with decorative archways and well-maintained walls.
