Wreckers of the Long Lake

The Wreckers of the Long Lake live in the reed-beds and rotting old jetties of the Long Lake's shadowed shores, far from the respectable lights of Esgaroth. They make their living by luring barges onto hidden shoals with false lanterns, then stripping the cargo and selling it through fences in the town itself. Despite the efforts of the Lake-town Master and the Dale merchants, the Wreckers have too many friends in the dockside taverns to be easily driven out.
