The Cult of the Lidless Eye is a secret society rooted in the Black Númenórean tradition, venerating Sauron as a god-king who will restore his faithful to glory when he rises again. They recruit among the dispossessed of Dunland and the forgotten corners of the realm, promising divine favour and earthly power. In truth, their leaders answer to agents of Barad-dûr, and their cell-based structure makes them nearly impossible for any lord's justice to eradicate.
