Sambuk

The sambuk is the traditional trading dhow of the Perassic Sea redesigned for warfare. It is to Aserai and Khuzait navies what the liburna is to imperial ones - the all-purpose workhorse, fleshing out the line and guarding the flanks in battle, hunting pirates, or protecting convoys of merchantment. The sambuk is distinguished by its very high speed, which also makes it a favorite of corsairs, if they can obtain one.
