The Twins, sometimes known as the Crossing, is the seat of House Frey in the northern riverlands, located south of the bogs of the Neck and west of the kingsroad. A fortified crossing of the Green Fork of the Trident, the Twins consists of identical castles on each side of the river and a tower in the middle of the bridge which connects them. It is one of the most formidable strongholds of the Seven Kingdoms.
