He proposes to dig a channel known as a qanah into a hillside, where the water table is high, which will allow him to flood some low-lying ground and turn it into an oasis garden. The barren hillside is your property, though at present it yields no income of any kind.
Requirements
- Current settlement is a player-owned town or castle
- Desert terrain within 3 units
Applaud his plan, and tell him that you will charge him nothing to sink a channel through your property.

Insist he purchase the hillside from your at market rate.
