The Deer Departed
You noticed that the deer around this Khuzait village are unusually unafraid of humans. One of your men manages to shoot one. The villagers approach him afterwards and beg him not to eat the animal. Their former shaman transformed himself into a deer some years ago, they say, and while they don't know if the animal your man killed is him or not, they want to perform the burial rights properly, just to be sure.
