You strike up a conversation with a trader in town, who is desperate for news of the wars. When you tell him about the looting of [village name], he makes a proposition. The price of grain will almost certainly rise, and he intends to buy up food now to sell it later when the hunger hits. He needs money, and he will sell you [other goods] at far below their market value - 1000 denars. He asks you also to keep this information to yourself.

- A grain-producing village has been looted
- Trade skill at least 20
All's fair in trade and war. You accept the deal.

Tell him quietly that you will not profit off of the misery of others.
